The Agency for Mobility and EU Programmes is a public institution which deals with mobility, the implementation and the realisation of EU programmes concerning education and youth. The Agency was founded in October 2007, as the Law on the Agency for Mobility and EU Programmes (OG 107/07) came into effect.
The Agency runs the following programmes: Lifelong Learning Programme Youth in Action Euraxess (researchers' mobility in Europe) Bilateral Mobility Programme Europass (document group aiming towards the transparence of qualifications) Erasmus Mundus (establishing international graduate and postgraduate studies)
Currently AMEUP is implementing the preparatory measures of the programmes it represents: informing the public on programme activities and advising potential participants publishing calls for project proposals and choosing projects allocation of monetary funds supervision of projects' realisation and tracking the regularity of expenditure of allocated funds cooperation with the European Commission, the Ministry of Science, Education and Sports, the Ministry of Family Affairs, War Veterans and Intergenerational Solidarity and other institutions involved in lifelong learning and the mobility of youth and researchers
