The Agency for Mobility and EU Programmes is organizing the promotion of the upcoming Marie Skłodowska - Curie call for Doctoral Networks, with the aim of introducing participants to the new rules of the call and opportunities for organizations within MSCA consortium projects.
The info day will be held on Wednesday, June 1st, 2022, from 09.30 to 14:00 via the Zoom platform. A preliminary program of the information day is available here.
The aim of the Info Day is to acquaint participants with the new rules of the Doctoral Networks competition and the opportunities offered to Croatian participants within the MSCA consortium projects.
The Info Day is primarily intended for experienced researchers, ie potential mentors, project team leaders, administrative staff involved in the process of writing and submitting project proposals, but also other representatives of scientific organizations and research centers and interested industry and private sector representatives.
Sandra Vidović will present the possibilities of the Doctoral Networks, the details of the competition, and the analysis of the participation of Croatian applicants. The evaluation process and useful tips for writing a project proposal will be presented by dr.sc. Marijana Sokolović. An example of good practice from the aspect of the organizations that apply, but also the participating researchers, will be presented by prof. dr. sc. Gordan Jelenić and Jan Tomec, representatives of the THREAD project, Faculty of Civil Engineering, University of Rijeka. Prof. will present his experiences of joining the consortium, the process of writing and applying for a project proposal. dr. sc. Željko Mrnjavac, representative of the PRESILIENT project, Faculty of Economics, University of Split.
Additionally, at the Info Day, Ivan Makovec will present networking opportunities for Croatian organizations. The national support system and measures to strengthen national participation in EU programs will be presented by Zorana Barišić, national coordinator of national contact persons of the Ministry of Science and Education.
