As aEuropean Year of Youth’, 2022 seeks to give back to the generation who have sacrificed so much over the course of the pandemic. This initiative aspires to provide exciting future opportunities for young people, as well as shed light on their role in creating a greener, more inclusive, and digitised world.
Under the Horizon Europe framework, the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA) through its five programmes, provides funding to many young researchers both in Europe and around the world. Annika, Ramón, and Claudia are three bright young researchers who spoke about what does it mean to be funded under the MSCA as a young researcher, what sparked their interest in their area of research, what impact might their research have for young generations in the future, and, finally, what advice would they give to other young aspiring researchers.
