Due to spreading of corona virus (COVID-19) and accompanying restrictions, the deadline for the Horizon Impact Award is extended until 15 April 2020.
This Award is the European Commission's initiative to promote and celebrate socio-economic benefits of investing in R&D projects. It will be done by creating role models and inspiring beneficiaries of R&D funding to increase the impact of their research by directly exploiting results or by playing active role and keep stakeholders to effectively use the results.
For the Horizon Impact Award can apply all legal entities, individuals or teams, if they have completed an FP7 and/or Horizon 2020 project. For the application, it is required to submit a letter of support from at least one user or community. This letter has to state the importance od the research and how using of that research created benefits for the specific user-community. User should not be an academic organisation.
