Open call for MSCA COFUND project proposals

mscahe2021

A call for COFUND project proposals for 2021 has been opened within the Marie Sklodowska-Curie Actions. The call is open until February 10th, 2022, with 89 million euros allocated.

MSCA COFUND provides co-financing for regional, national and international new or existing doctoral and postdoctoral mobility programmes, with the aim of extending the MSCA principles to the institutional level, with particular emphasis on enhancing the potential and careers of researchers.

The call (mono-beneficiary, i.e. one applicant) is submitted by organizations from the EU or associated members of the Horizon Europe programme. Project proposals can cover all research disciplines (“bottom-up” approach). In exceptional cases, programmes may focus on specific disciplines, especially if they are based on national or regional aspects related to research and innovation within smart specialization strategies. All programmes should allow researchers reasonable flexibility to define their research topic.

The European Commission strongly encourages synergies between funding and the Structural and Cohesion Funds and the Recovery and Resilience Plan.

More information about the call is available on the Funding & tender portal pages, including:
