The video conference „The Role of Cultural Heritage in Socio-Economic Development and Preservation of Democratic Values - HERItage”will be held from 15th to 18th June 2020, under the Croatian Presidency of the Council of the European Union. The Conference will be organised by the University of Rijeka, in the cooperation with the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Croatia and the European Commission as part of the Croatian Presidency of the Council of the European Union.
This conference will bring together representatives of the European Commission, officials and policy makers, scientists and experts to discuss topics such as the role of universities in promoting and preserving cultural heritage, the role of scientific research in strengthening the preservation of industrial heritage and the challenges and opportunities of digital transformation in the preservation and development of cultural heritage, as well as many other important aspects of the development of social and humanistic sciences in Europe and in the new Horizon Europe Framework Programme, particularly in terms of cultural heritage.
The conference will be held on Zoom application, and for participation it is necessary to registeruntil 7th June.
