The European Commission aims to improve understanding of mobility patterns, working conditions and career paths of researchers. For that reason, a study called MORE4 was developed. The MORE4 study contains two surveys. Topic of the first survey are researchers currently working in one of the higher education institutes in the EU. The second survey will take a global perspective and focuses on EU and non-EU researchers currently working outside the EU.
In the MORE4 study, the European Commission will gain information on what is important for researchers in their careers, what kind and what extension of mobility or career progression barriers they still face and which impact policy measures have (had) on these aspects.
